TransContinental

Responsive Web Design
Project Overview
TransContinental is a corresponding website and app that allows people to find trans-friendly accommodations along pre-determined travel routes.
Filling A Need...
The idea for TransContinental came about from a conversation with some colleagues from Merit America when I was in their UX Design program. My partner is trans, and I have noticed many times when they've needed to travel, how it has been difficult to find accommodations with friendly people in route from point A to point B. TransContinental helps to solve this problem.
Above, you'll see the flowchart for the website for TransContinental. It allows users to select a route. Then, using data from databases like Google and Yelp, it allows the user to select a stopping point along the route, and gives them options for food and lodging. These places will be vetted before being included in the app. Eventually, it would also be great to include entertainment options.

Below, you'll see some hi-def images from the finished mockups.
